Things are pretty standard at the moment in regards to Info. We discuss where we are going to have the session at. would you like to have interior or exterior pics and of course what time and day. Some of your picks will be natural lifestyle as well as posed. Once the shoot is over
I will edit these pictures and no I don’t send out raw photos all photos are edited. If you ask for raw or unedited pictures it will be a $40 dollar charge for me to answer that question.
After this has been finished 3-6 days later, we can decide between digital copies or having your picture printed into a book. At this point you most likely tell me that you will want to have a digital copy because you're intending on going to Walmart to have them printed. The issue with this is you lose pixel clarity and the printer heads on their printer needed to be replaced about ten years ago. Then you come back to me asking why the pictures look like crap. Then i have to ask did you receive a sample pic from you print store to make additional grading changes to the picture. So, after you figure out that this isn’t going to work you then have me send the picture of choice to a company that does nothing but printing on a professional level higher than anyone has ever seen. BY THIS TIME it has been almost a 2 weeks and we are now waiting on proofs to be sent out for approval by me to make the final order. Also keep in mind that when you are viewing you picture on your phone that the screen is illuminated by back lights that make the image look brighter than it is. This why we calibrate our monitors and get proofs from the print store before the final order. Most likely the customer at this point is going around and telling everyone that their photographer is slower than ever and talking a world of complete crap and ruining their reputation and in which they didn’t realize much of anything from the start. SO, WHAT WOULD I RECOMEND AT THIS POINT?
I recommend that recognizing the difference in receiving pictures digitally in a couple of days is completely different then dealing with prints. Now don’t confuse dealing with the word difficult there is a difference. No, it isn’t difficult at all just time consuming. Thanks for understanding this, it means a lot to me.
